Implementing BRC Standards
A food processing company sought certification in the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety. Freer Consulting first conducted a gap analysis to determine what the client needed to do to meet the standard. Freer then assisted the client with creating and training employees on a HACCP Plan and food safety procedures that covered all processing operations. After the procedures were implemented, Freer conducted an internal audit to identify and help the client complete any corrective actions needed to ensure adherence to the standard. The client successfully passed an external audit and was certified in the standard.
