Freer provides compliance support for towing and research vessel certifications for ISM, MARPOL, SOLAS, USCG, and many other maritime compliance requirements. Our regulatory database software platform is currently being used as an interim software solution as our client transitions to an online operations management system. We maintain a database of all vessel certifications that are required to be onboard each vessel as well as calibration certificates for shoreside and marine equipment. This involves creating an organized folder structure to file certificates digitally, verifying that current certificates are in the proper folders, and updating the regulatory database when new certificates are uploaded. We generate monthly reports informing our clients of any certificates that expired or coming up for renewal.
